WHO

This is the place where you probably hope to find some information on the person who is behind Chocolush. I could fill pages and pages of with useless facts which would probably bore you to death and scare you away.

So who am I? To most of my friends I am known simply as Mel. I'm a 'getting close to 30' year old born and bred in Sydney, Australia. I'm still living in Sydney with my wonderful husband who I married not so long ago in April.

I work full time in what can be a stressful office job for an international company. While I am known to bitch and moan about the work, at the end of the day I can look back and honestly say that I enjoy working there.

I love theatre, especially musical theatre, reading, movies, most reality tv shows - in particular Survivor, italian food, travelling, cats, surfing online, working on my own web projects and sleeping. I think I've missed something - chocolate!

CHOCOLUSH

I have been creating websites for about 6 years now and I've never really had a personal site where I could sound off about anything and everything. I did have a blog on my domain Twelve Noon for a short time, but that didn't last very long as other things began to take priority.

So here I am, once again attempting to get a personal site and blog off and running.

I thank you for visiting. I hope I haven't bored you to death.

What's with the name?

One Sunday afternoon in 2003, my then boyfriend (now husband) and I were at home and about to open a tub of a new low fat chocolate icecream. The conversation went something like:

Me: It's called Chocolush? Hmm Chocolush...
Him: dot com
Me: Chocolush dot com!

For a week I couldn't decide whether I really wanted to buy another domain name or not and finally I went with it. Now, over a year later I have finally found the time to actually gets things moving along!

Oh, btw, Chocolush is delicious! It's now my favourite chocolate icecream!
